We understand the importance of having an on-site Chef who understands the yoga philosophy and the power of holistic health. With that in mind, we want to support your work through hiring our own personal Green Chef that will take care of all the meals for retreats, groups and/or individuals.

As we take care of your body, mind, and spirit through our journey together, our Chef is mindfully taking care of your plate. We go beyond just preparing the food: we inspire you, share the knowledge and show you the benefits of a plant-based diet with all respect to Mother Nature.



Petra is our head chef in U-Retreat and putting the whole concept of our plant based diet and nutrition for our life transformational retreats. She is a former Head Chef of one of the worldΒ΄s top ten health retreats. Trained in plant based and raw vegan cuisine in Europe, surrounded by beautiful nature, Petra began to explore the powerful healing properties of fresh foods & herbs for detoxification of body and mind and rejuvenating force of fasting. She continued her Raw Chef training in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, which expanded her palette with a new range of flavours and combinations.
Petra has been a raw food & vegan chef for the past 5 years. Her biggest passion is helping others with transitioning into more healthy lifestyle while focusing on making plantbased meals highly interesting, delicious, satisfying yet simple to prepare. She is passionate about nutrition same as in nourishment of prepared dishes.



Sonia is our green chef. She grew up in Southern Spain, where her kitchen experience started at a very young age, working in her parent’s restaurant. Her mum was an accomplished chef and her love for local and seasonal foods was passed on over Sonia igniting her interest in cooking.Β At 11 years of age, Sonia encountered vegan food for the first time. Without being aware of it she started her journey into a plant-based lifestyle.Β She went to University and obtained a degree in Law but soon after graduating she realised her passion laid in food. She did a lot of research until she discovered Raw Vegan Cuisine and she was blown away. She realised she could be playful and very creative and also inspire people, in many ways, through food.

After moving to London, she completed formal training as a Vegan Natural Chef by the College of Naturopathic Medicine and has been embarked in many other projects. She is currently completing a course in Plant Based Nutrition by the University of Winchester and works as a Plant Based Chef with different organisations in London.Β She strongly believes in making food very accessible to everyone, in sharing and in magic living!

Every Chef cooks according to high standards established by U-Retreat, however, each one brings his/her own personality and final touch.


It is not a big surprise that plant-based diet has exploded in popularity in recent years. Many advantages have been well documented over the past several decades, such as a lower overall heart disease mortality, sustainable weight management, reduction of medication intake, lower risk of most chronic diseases, decreased incidence of obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and hyperglycemia and reverse of coronary disease and type 2 diabetes.
The advantages of plant foods lay on their array of nutrients. Phytochemicals and fibers are the most health-promoting and disease-fighting compounds and plants are the only source of these nutrients, which are completely absent in animals. Plants contain thousands of phytochemicals, such as carotenoids, glucosinolates, and flavonoids, which perform a multitude of beneficial functions such as antioxidation, anti-inflammation, immunity enhancement, protection against some degenerative diseases, cancer activity reduction, just to name a few.
A well-balanced, plant-based diet is composed of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, herbs, spices, and a small number of nuts and seeds. U-Retreat team of Chefs understands plant-based cuisine and nutrition and focus on S.O.U.L. (seasonal-organic-unique-local) aspects of food providing you with pure magic for your body & mind.


I am passionate about healthy plantbased food, especially when I can see people thriving on it, being full of energy and aliveness. That's why I will put all my knowledge and experience into creating healthy, highly nourishing and delicious meals for your retreat as possible!
